Parsons is fascinated by the quiet parts of people’s lives, and he uses his work to explore the choices we make—especially the bad ones.

His first feature, Shapeless, premiered at Tribeca 2021 after being selected as a fellow in the IFP Narrative Filmmaker Lab. His feature Mai Pen Rai (Nevermind) advanced to the second round in Sundance Development Track, and his screenplay Little Lying Wild was a finalist in the New Orleans Film Festival Screenplay Competition and a semifinalist in ScreenCraft Screenplay Competition.

His film Angels is currently streaming on Hulu as part of Bite Size Halloween season three.
